This religious structure is built so that light can shine through the building. It creates this overwhelming effect when you are inside - reminds me of something a child would make out of popsicle sticks. I wonder if it would make someone dizzy to be in this space since it provides equal amounts of shade and sunlight, but in a chaotic way.
